“I’M SORRY, IZUKU!!” Eren’s guttural scream echoes off discolored stomach lining.
Izuku? Eren questions, who is—a face flashes through Eren’s mind, a boy’s. His face is painted with hundreds of freckles, his green hair an unkempt disaster.
Eren's snapped out of his trance by the familiar squelch of swords slicing through flesh, and glances upward to see a figure shrouded by light.
It’s the boy from his vision, with blood smeared across his face and fury written into his brows.
No, not a boy, Eren thinks. An angel. Otherwise why would he be surrounded by that green glowing light?
The angel reaches an arm out towards Eren, eyes glowing with the same energy that crackles across his body.
“Izuku,” Eren whispers, his stub of an arm extending out towards his savior, you’re finally here.

Summary
When they were 12, Shouta helped his best friend (Izuku) kill the hero who had murdered his parents. It wasn't a hard decision; Izuku deserved justice and he would never let his best and only friend commit a crime alone. They face the world together or not at all. It was only supposed to be a one time thing but when they move out early they end up with bills to pay and high school tuition to save up for.
Needing a better income, Izuku is the one who decides to take up contract hits for money via his yakuza connections from his first hit. Even with his rule that he'll only kill bad people, it's enough to keep them comfortable and allow Shouta to go to UA. As Izuku grows his career as an assassin, Shouta graduates and breaks onto the underground hero scene. With their respective careers, living together is a balancing act, but they manage.
Then Izuku comes home from a hit with a muzzled 6 year old he found hiding in a dumpster.
Guess they're dads now.
