Tess Franklin is an ordinary young girl from Samaris, Oregon. She gets average grades in school, though her gym mark has gone up recently. She's not in any clubs, and doesn't have any hobbies beyond learning everything she can about superheroes. And why wouldn't she want to learn everything she can?
She'll be one soon enough, after all.
The young girl will have her work cut out for her, as she fights both villains and the massive system she so wants to be a part of. But despite being a Solo, Tess won't be alone. Rache Cooper aka "Fusillade" is a newly Broken Duo, a Duo whose partner has died, and takes the new hero under her wing. And so they venture into the dangerous world of hero work.
