    He was… f a l l i n g.

    In one moment, Midoriya Izuku Mikumo had been fighting alongside Kacchan and the blond’s friends in the streets in front of Tatooin Station. He had agreed to leave his new home on the beach behind and go with them to join the resistance against Lord All For One.

    In the next, Mikumo was blinking stars from his eyes as people milled around in the streets in front of Tatooin Station. He had miscalculated and was now far from any home he had known. Far from his own time, as he would soon find out.

    Shooting stars are only just the beginning, a new start. Brilliant streaks in the sky before burning up into stardust. He’s already witnessed many. Maybe this time will be kinder?

    Well… he could only wish upon a star.

    Even All Might says he can't be a hero.

    But what if All Might didnt save bakugou? What if Eraserhead was passing by?

    What if this is enough to propel the boy into heroics- albeit with a different mentor.

    “It was a kid,” Yagi gasped out. He had his hand balled up into a fist and the fist pressed to his lips, as if to remind himself that he could not start screaming. “Or. Young person, maybe 20. Homeless, I think. Activated their Quirk on reflex and then ran. The kids—” Here, he pressed his fist harder to his mouth, sucked in a wheezing breath, as if the air itself was pushing down something with physical weight. “The kids—”

    “Scattered immediately,” Aizawa finished for him, and Yagi managed a nod.

    Yagi’s eyes were so dilated that the blue was almost invisible. He shook violently. He looked like a scarecrow in a windstorm.

    Someone activated a Fear-Inducer Quirk so powerful that it reduced All Might to this— of course Aizawa’s class had bolted.

    Class 1-Z. The "Zero" Class. To the public, it’s a rehabilitation program for at-risk youth. To the HPSC, it’s a dumping ground for the students they expect to expel by the end of the first semester.

    They appointed Izuku Midoriya as their homeroom teacher, convinced that the now-quirkless war hero is a relic of the past and exactly what the class needs to fail quietly. But the Symbol of Hope doesn't believe in lost causes. He sees the next generation of heroes. He's going to take this class of broken legacies, problem children and former villains and vigilantes and teach the commission a painful lesson:

    MK, the mentee and successor of China's Number One Hero is sent to Japan to learn at an actual Hero School, armed with a quirk strikingly similar to One For All, (as in, it can be passed down and has multiple facets to it). He enters the recommendation exams alongside the son of Japan's Number 2 Hero and the Yayorozu Heiress. Unlike OFA, Monkey Heir is a well known quirk in China, with MK being only the second other person to have it. He has done good work as a licensed Apprentice in protecting his home city of Megapolis from his Mentors Enemies
