In a world where humankind coexists with ferocious creatures called Magical Beasts, humankind has created a profession called “Hunter” to slaughter them. But since more than a decade ago, Hunter's 'foundation' has changed drastically due to government interference. Because of this many Hunters have lost their careers.
One of them is Ruze, who used to be a great Hunter but now struggles to find a “normal” job. But thanks to Octavio he finally got a job at Hunter headquarters or more commonly referred to as Tempus HQ, as a Security Guard.
But what Ruze never expected was that, not only he get a job and a decent salary, he also get something or someone more precisely, that was considered a threat to humankind.

Ruze fucking hates winter.
It’s colder than a witch’s tit, and because Jurard is an idiot, he sent Goldbullet and Ruze out on a hunt to try and bring in some pocket money. It took all of two days to realize that whatever bounty they had been sent on had been sniped ages ago, and before they could make it back to the tavern, a frozen pit of mud had rendered the camper van completely immobile.
Ruze has spent the last five hours seething about all the beautiful torture he could inflict on their great leader, if they were able to return.
