Summary
Dazai steels himself for the oncoming mockery about to be thrown his way, tongue poised to bite back, but when Chuuya finally turns and sees them he doesn’t say anything. He’s utterly silent, eyes widening and shoulders dropping, before he pivots his body completely to face Dazai and his eyes narrow and rove over him. Dazai doesn’t flinch under the thorough inspection, just takes the shoes Kouyou offers him with poise and leans over to put them on.
He looks up at Chuuya while he’s running a finger across the back of the shoes to fit them to his feet, and smiles coquettishly from under his lashes. “Cat got your tongue?” Dazai rises, tucking a lock of long hair behind his ear. “Or are you just stunned to see me looking ten times better than you, even in drag?”
aka, I've seen so many fics where Chuuya has to reluctantly crossdress for a mission, so why not let Dazai have a turn for a change

“Why on Earth,” he said then, voice low and full of venom. “Should I not kill you right here, right now, and throw your body in a river before turning your head in to Mori.”
His voice, he knew, had brought enemies to their knees, begging for mercy that they never got. Dazai didn't even blink.
“You didn't turn me in during the last two years,” he answered, tilting his head just so, his hand wrapping around his wrist. He squeezed it, but didn't try to pull it away. Chuuya held on and pushed him further against the fridge, increasing the pressure on the other's larynx. The shithead had the nerve to whimper, and the little smile on his face told him he was delighted.
Disgusting bastard.
(Or, Chuuya has many feelings to work out about their very fucked up, post-defection relationship, and Dazai is a manace. They might just make something good out of it, after all.)

Summary
When two foreigners ask the armed detective agency to collect something in the ruins of the military base near Suribachigai, Fukuzawa sends Yosano and Kunikida to investigate. Dazai, the agency’s newest recruit, asks to come along.
Alternately: Yosano accidentally makes a study out of Dazai, Kunikida is too tired for the both of them, and sometimes all it takes to open up is one too many drinks.
