Tanjirou was avoiding him. Zenitsu couldn’t help but wonder where he went wrong.
Evidently, that had to be the case. He’d happily jump back into Tanjirou’s arms if the other didn’t stop offering them, so Zenitsu had to have been the one to mess up somewhere. It made sense. It made so much horrifying sense. Those looks everyone sent him, why Kanao and Genya had been so kind, why the girls kept gossiping about him behind his back, it had to have been pity!
He was 100% certain that Tanjirou was planning to break up with him.

Summary
Takes place right after Mugen Train/ Infinity Train. Tanjirou's nightmares and dreams have stuck to him and the phantoms of his past haunt him. Zenitsu notices Tanjirou isn't sleeping and wants to help him get past whatever pain he is dealing with.
“Zenitsu?” The cool calming voice alerted Zenitsu and he realized he had been tracing Tanjirou’s scar with his fingertips, resulting in his wake. Oh shit! The blond immediately pulled his hand back and grabbed the cloth he was using to show proof as to what he was doing, laughing awkwardly in the process. Attempted to hide his crippling anxiety that was seeped up his skin in sweats. The crimson eyes of Tanjirou examined him intently, however his tired expression did reveal his patience while waiting for the blond to give him an answer, rather than waving the cloth around. Zenitsu felt his face heat up by Tanjirou’s stare, his chest fluttering in the process. Oh dear, that was new. Or was it?
“I’m s-sorry Tanjirou! I was just cleaning you up a bit because it seems you were having a nightmare of some sort.”

Tanjiro agrees to let them stay through the night upon seeing how excited Zenitsu is to find a match. However, the festival is mostly known for people finally seeing those they already know in a different light. Maybe Zenitsu's match isn't as far away as he thought.

Sebastian’s lips had fallen into a withering glower that only deepened at his words. “My eyes aren’t some gemstone,” he scoffed, feeling his face heat rapidly. “If anything, yours are frozen tears.” Sebastian weighed the next sentence in his mind before saying it aloud. What the hell, he decided, Sam probably wouldn’t even remember this conversation tomorrow.
“They’re the exact same pale, icy blue as your eyes.”
Sam's eyes lit up with recognition. “The one on your nightstand?” Oh. Sebastian wasn’t sure what to even say to that. Deny it? Admit that he loved sleeping beside the stone that reminded him so vividly of his best friend?

Nico di Angelo, is a busy man. Don't get him wrong, he loves his job, he's good at it. He loves to write, he loves to sell his songs and hear them come to life with so many talented musicians. And now he has ANGEL, he can release his own music without any of the nepotism allegations. Because the last thing his father would do is give him extra attention - but if he keeps winning awards, maybe he just might get his attention. That's what he used to tell himself, and then he won a literal Grammy and his father still didn't care. But by that point, Nico had worked himself up the DOA Records ladder first as a musician and then becoming an award winning artist and he loved it enough he could forget his father's opinion (or lack thereof).
Nico wasn't blind. He could admit that Will Solace was easy on the eyes (read: super fucking hot) but they were both young artists competing for the same awards and Nico didn't have the luxury of supportive, knowledgeable parents to help him out. So sue him, if he doesn't love Will Solace who seems to be trying separate himself from everything Nico ever wanted...
