Summary
The eye contact raises goosebumps on Rover’s skin, fear striking at his core as the man jumps down with one knee barely touching the ground, the action seeming both brutish and graceful. He rises to his feet, height clearly above Rover’s own. Everything about him screams danger with the way he kept an eerie grin and a bone-chilling stare towards him. Rover raises an arm over his chest defensively to stop him from getting any closer.
There is no doubt in his mind who this is now.

Pitch Black has returned. The Guardians are summoned to Santoff Claussen in hopes of creating a plan. Santoff Claussen, much to Bunny’s relief, is warm and cozy. It’s the perfect temperature to melt the snow out of your fur and bring a healthy rosy color to your cheeks. Or healthy to anyone except Jack Frost, who currently feels like he’s melting.

“Will you allow me?” Wriothesley asks then, his voice tender. Neuvillette has to close his eyes, and he’s still keeping that breath in. His nonverbal reactions make his beloved add, “You don’t have to. It’s just an offer.”
Kindness and care are going to be his end one day, Neuvillette thinks: these come so easy to give but so incredibly hard to accept.
