While she has refused his proposal, Benedict and Sophie can't stay away from each other and find themselves stealing moments together. While working for the Dowager Viscountess as a governess for Hyacinth and companion for Eloise, Sophie finds herself interacting more and more with the Bridgerton siblings. As she gradually gets to know more of Benedict's family, and in turn they get to know her, it leaves them both longing for what could be.
