Summary
When Harry is expelled from Hogwarts after the Dementor attack, the ancient magic of the school responds immediately, removing his place, his House. Though he’s reinstated after the trial, something is different. Upon his return, the Sorting Hat places him not in Gryffindor, but in Hufflepuff.
Still reeling from Cedric’s death, Harry finds himself surrounded by the very House mourning their lost champion. Will this unexpected shift help him heal or isolate him further? As he navigates new dorms, unfamiliar friendships, and an increase in classes with Draco Malfoy, Harry starts to notice things… including the way Malfoy’s gaze lingers a little too long.
