Summary
Harry Potter was like the sun. He shone brightly and pulled everyone into his orbit with a gravity that was difficult to escape. Being in his presence was like basking in the warmth of a ray of sunlight, the feeling of his attention almost addictive. However, Draco knew that if he allowed himself to get close to him, like those summer days where he had run wild as a child, he would be burned. Too much exposure to him caused Draco’s skin to itch just below the surface, and it caused him to lash out. If he wanted any peace of mind at all, it was better to stay as far away from him as possible.
Or: Draco realizes he's in love with Harry Potter and decides it's better to avoid him and his feelings, however Harry just won't seem to leave him alone.

Summary
Harry returns to Hogwarts for his 8th year. Unfortunately, Draco Malfoy is also there, mandated by the terms of his probation. At first, Harry is on guard, distrustful of Draco even if he is the reason Draco avoided prison time. But then Harry realizes that Draco is different. He’s sadder, quieter, calmer, and kinder. Harry is fascinated by this new Draco, and, as they grow closer, he realizes that he never properly understood Draco before.
This is a very slow burn but will eventually get VERY dirty and explicit. Smut begins chapter 8!
Also, fuck JKR and her transphobia. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Trans rights are human rights.

The nights are restless, filled with echoes he can’t place, while hazy memories hover at the edge of his consciousness.
There are looks he doesn’t understand, unspoken gestures, and a silent tension that no one dares mention. His parents speak to him as if they are always on the verge of revealing something terrible, but they hold back as if silence is the only thing protecting them. Draco wonders if they know what is happening to him.
And then there is Harry. Always him, always there in the moments when reality distorts the most. Draco doesn’t know if it is a coincidence, a twist of fate, or something more. Potter’s gaze pierces his defences, challenges him, and at the same time offers a strange comfort that Draco cannot explain. There is something between them that has never been said, but that pulses in the shadows, something that pulls him closer, even when he wants to run away. Maybe Harry sees what no one else sees. Featuring, Good Draco, Draco’s boggart, everyone lives even Cedric, Sirius and Lupin taking Harry in, Draco is a sad gay disaster, Lucious is abusive (because he is fight me), copious amounts of hurt comfort, Draco cries allot but he also gets allot of hugs, Nevil is a bad ass, Draco and Harry dancing, Draco is sassy, so is Harry, poking fun at some plot holes because I can and fuck JKR ima steal my childhood back and make it gayer out of spite.
