They're obsessive and in love.

“If you ever leave me I’ll kill you.” Billy grumbles as he presses Steve down against a bed. They are in some room at some party, Billy far closer to drunk than sober. Riled up after some girl hit on Steve, put her hands on him and all Billy could do was stand there and stew before he had an opening to drag his boy upstairs.
“Okay.” Steve hums, nodding in acceptance. That would be easier than dying of the heartbreak leaving Billy would inevitably cause. He is pretty sure it will never come to that, he would rather die than leave. He clings to Billy as his back hits the mattress, pulling him down tighter against his body. Their clothes are in the way but both of them are far too consumed with one another to worry about those.
“I want to crawl inside of you.” Billy growls as his hands try and fail, fumbling with Steve’s stupid belt. He gives up on it, hands rucking up an ugly polo to drag over warm skin. His mouth works a line of red and purple under Steve's jaw, determined to make sure everyone understands he is taken.

Summary
Chrissy dies and Eddie goes to Steve looking to bring her back.

"Do you regret it?" Billy cocks his head and Eddie clarifies. "Do you regret Steve bringing you back?"
"Sometimes in the beginning I did. When everything was familiar and strange at the same time. Before we figured our shit out.” Billy’s voice is quiet as he hands over a lighter, taking a drag from his cigarette before blowing it out again, the wind catching it and twisting it. “I've never found myself regretting getting to be with him though, getting this time." His eyes shift back to the graveyard even though Steve cannot be seen down in the hole Eddie dug.
"Do you think Chrissy will regret it?"
