The crowd meaning Chris and Mia. They both wince, looking away separately, staring at the walls.
“Are your teeth sharper?” Chris asks- and then looks as if he very much did not want to know. Ethan watches Mia kick him in a way he was certain he wasn’t supposed to see.
“Yep,” he says, because there’s nothing else left to say. What is he supposed to do, lie? Oh, no, I don’t have fangs now, just don’t look in my mouth, or else you’ll get a nasty surprise! Like a gashapon, but it's his mouth. The only thing that comes out is teeth, baby!
