The fresh memories of revolution remain stuck onto the minds of the underground.Counting drops of blood in her hands, Chara chose a path against the royal family, who now holds her captive. Glimpsing outwards from the castle, Chara sits in royalty, waiting for another storm to hit New Home.
Back in the Ruins, the revolutionary fortress of New Citadel continues to protect its liberty against the will of the monarchy. Yet Clover and Frisk, against the wishes of its leaders, seek to do more: bring justice to the underground. But when one man serves as the judge, jury, and executioner, how fair can justice really be?

But Alastor had been oddly amiable of late, or at least as friendly as he was probably capable of being.... The demon had even started making him coffee on the rare occasion he saw Lucifer was actually up and out of his room early in the morning (Lucifer had a tendency to take his time starting the day). All of this should have clued him in, but he was so focused on functioning at a basic level that it didn’t even register. He should have realized it was all an act, that Alastor was going to want something. That the sinner was trying to fucking manipulate him.
Were he less oblivious, they might have been able to avoid the duck massacre that took place five miserable days ago.
Lucifer really, really needed to start paying more attention.

In summary: Alastor makes a particularly cruel decision to convince the devil to heal his chest wound, and Lucifer spirals. Thankfully, he has Charlie and Vaggi for support and, when Alastor is forced to reconsider his actions, things take a surprising, but not unwelcome turn.Bookmarked by Cet0

Chara sighs, and shuffles over to slam the pretty-people-discount coupon on the counter. What a stupid little slip of paper. But, a discount is a discount, and 75% off is a downright steal with how much people tended up mark up flowers around this time of year.
“Just something to say ‘I miss you’ for Heir’s Return tomorrow.” They mutter.
