When Macaque agreed to help MK, he didn't sign up to be a babysitter. But apparently, he was the only one Sun Wukong trusted in this feral state.
He was only doing it because he had to feed on someone else's magic. At least that's what he told himself while he wiped the tears or his murderer.

Macaque is forced to realize how much his oldest friend is hurting, and he is struggling with this revelation. Sun Wukong struggles with other blooming feelings once healed, but how could he not when he learn of the way Macaque cared for him when he was hurting ?

Binged read this whole thing in a rather unhinged way and enjoyed all of it dearly, I did not knew after the first chapters how this was going to evolve into an 82 chapter plot but as it built up more and more it was amazin and by the end I could not believe it was over, 10/10 git this monkeys outta here they are gonna give me diabetes, it got me giggling by how lovey they where together like dawg I can't with this (/pos) also really enjoyed the world building and the added characters where very charming >>v<<
