Dragon Slayer Magic has a price. Aside from changing into a Dragon if the mage taps into their power too much there is also the fact that the host gains Dragon-like attributes: Heightened senses such as sight, hearing, smell. Draconic tendencies such as hoarding, a lust for treasure and, of course, finding a mate. Dragons mate for life and thus the process for finding a mate is not taken lightly, not by a Dragon or their Slayer counterparts. However, once the mate has been chosen whether consciously or subconsciously, the Dragon must begin the Mating Ritual called Dragon Season in which the Dragon begins courting his or her chosen Mate. Dragon Season is not the same for every Dragon but there are six stages that the Dragon MUST complete before attempting to seal the lifetime bond.
These stages are:
Grooming
Gifting
Courting
Marking/Scenting
Domination
And Finally, Mating.And in a certain town, in a certain guild, one young Dragon Slayer has subconsciously chosen his mate and has begun the process. For the next month he must court his chosen where in the end it will be her choice to accept him as her lifelong partner…or reject him forever…
