Set after the end of Season 1, Lucy and The Ghoul (hidden identity Cooper Howard) set off on a journey through the Mojave Desert towards Las Vegas. Lucy is following her father, Hank McClean, and trying to uncover secrets about Vault-Tec and the vaults, while The Ghoul is searching for his frozen family and tracking Hank for his own reasons. He invites Lucy along. As they travel together, grudging cooperation, harsh desert conditions and reluctant intimacy slowly turns into a deeper connection.
