Summary
The Twin Jades were destined to marry for the sake of ending wars and forging alliances between the various sects. This arrangement was designed to ensure peace and prevent further conflict and loss of life. Traditionally, the Elders selected the spouses for the Jades early on, then placed each Jade in seclusion with their chosen mate for a month, during which all contact with the outside world was forbidden.
One concern plaguing Lan Xichen was that his brother’s beloved had been chosen as his own Omega. Never having met this Omega, Lan Xichen resolved not to become intimate with him.
However, upon meeting the Omega, Lan Xichen realized the person was nothing like Lan Wangji’s description of Wei Wuxian. The Omega was small, with wide golden eyes that disarmed his reservations completely.

Summary
