Summary
Connor found himself on the run after he marched a warehouse full of androids to freedom and saved the remnants of Jericho from being gunned down.
Public opinion is so vital to the android's survival, and yet it is a very fickle thing indeed.
He hadn't considered what life might be like after he succeeded but he never would have pictured what did follow. Freeing the androids wasn't something he could ever regret but being labeled a terrorist by the FBI and hiding from the promise of deactivation was less than pleasant. It only grew worse once he was caught.

At first, he doesn’t understand but he's already moving, pushing through the crowd. He doesn’t know if he can get close to the android fast enough, but a recklessness drives him forward, the crowd parting much more difficultly. The closer he gets, and the denser the android surveyors become. Hank sees Connor raise the gun to his chin, pressing into the underside of his jaw, and the ground drops away beneath his feet abruptly.

Trigger warning for near the start and in the middle.
Feels suspiciously like a crack fic, but decidedly not. So much angst, you might as well swim in it.
Connor feels things, everyone feels things. Hank is very gay, so is Markus and Simon. People get drunk and secrets get spilled. It's honestly an exciting version of Home and Away, where there's relationship trouble every single chapter, but cool things happen as well. There's also a virus involved.
