In 1979, a certain young auror decides to takes in a frightened young girl after her muggleborn parents are killed by Voldemort's followers, but then Halloween 1981 happens and the girl seemingly vanishes into thin air or rather, the huge muggle world, not to be seen again by any wizard or witch for several years
In 1985, what many people at first assume is nothing more than an orphaned muggleborn girl immediately shocks everyone at Hogwarts and subsequently the Wizarding world with both her sorting and her name as she changes the game that is the Wizarding Politics by merely existing in the first place.
Complete uncaring of the repercussions that she brings with her by simply arriving at the school and having lived in the muggle foster-care system for years while she could've lived with her father, which she knows is because of the wizards her father had fought to protect and who had turned their backs on him, the girl only has one thing in mind: justice

Nov. 23, 1992, Columbus, Ohio; A candle light vigil will be held for Buckeye Star running back, Tony DiNozzo, who was critically injured during Saturday’s game against OSU's long time rivals University of Michigan. After leading the Buckeyes to a respectable 8 out of 10 wins, DiNozzo was on his way to securing a ninth win for OSU, running a routine push to ‘gain yards’ for the Buckeyes - when he was almost simultaneously tackled by two Wolverine linebackers causing severe injury. The second tackle - striking DiNozzo as he was already tumbling from the first tackle - hit the OSU running back too low and at a twisting angle that fractured DiNozzo’s T9 vertebrae.
With that one small twist, innumerable lives are changed for better or worse, including four a world away and in Washington DC, who will feel the effects of this change but will never know his name or that he was the catalyst.
