Summary
The Station's been running without interns for the past ten days due them drowning, accidentally travelling through dimensions, and doing other intern-typical activities.
Coincidentally, as those ten days went by, Cecil looked more and more like the walking dead.
He was paler than Carlos has ever seen him. His bones were starting to show through the skin, even though he inhaled dinners and asked for seconds. He was jittery—"I'm fine, dear Carlos"—with bags under his eyes—"I promise you, there's no reason to worry"—with his eyes always searching.
It was almost like Cecil needed something other than food, and Carlos had a very nightvalian guess about what exactly it was.
