Summary
This story follows Alador and Darius if they had never been separated.
Alador manages to escape a life marked by abuse, but his freedom comes at a cost. Forced to abandon his name, he adopts a new identity as Mr. Deamonne and becomes the second in command of the Abomination Coven.
Darius, who once dreamed of this very future, is compelled to uncover the rot staining the palace walls after the loss of his mentor. Alongside his husband and Eberwolf, he will lead the first conspiracy against Belos' throne.
Alador's past will return to claim what he left behind, dragging with it a fire that threatens to destroy everything he has.
