Izuku's father is second in charge under Bakugo Katsuki in their gang. The families of the head, second in charge, and other important people all live in the same mansion in order to keep information and matters private. Extremely intimidated, Izuku usually stays out of Bakugo's way. He also has his own issues at the moment concerning an unwanted marriage and harassment at school.
In an unfortunate accident on Izuku's part, he barges into Bakugo's office quite rudely. Yet - the events that followed were quite the opposite of unfortunate. While Bakugo is brash, rude, and terrifying - he's shockingly gentle to those he cares about. And it seems the only thing he cares about now... is Izuku.

People say there are limits to how far a person can truly strive, but Izuku decides he’s just going to surpass those by learning from everything he can and using whatever advantages he can get.
Izuku Midoriya always knew he would become a hero, he just had to figure out that he’d have to break through all the limits that stood in his way first.Izuku Midoriya was thought to be quirkless. That was up until his tenth birthday. Quirks and how they work have always fascinated him so come to his surprise he can use his friend's quirk after figuring out how it works. He just didn't know that his new quirk came with a dark secret and origin. Well, he didn't know for about five minutes until he was kidnapped and held captive for five years under his 'father's' thumb. The damage was already done as Izuku doesn't think he can be a hero anymore after being rescued, but Bakugou Katsuki never gave up on him and now, neither will Aizawa Shouta. All the people Izuku meets along the way will show him that little kid inside of him, begging to be saved, dreaming of becoming a hero, isn't bound by limits that don't exist because only he can decide what those are.

It did not matter what Katsuki did, Deku would take it, like Katsuki hadn’t even scratched his surface when Katsuki knew he was bone fucking deep. There was nothing he could do to scare, change, or stop Deku. Nothing.

“Wait! Ochako!” Izuku shouted weakly.
She called back to him from somewhere far away. “Sorry, can’t hear you!”
Despicable. What kind of friend does that? A terrible, horrible, insufferable, unforgivable–
“Come here,” Kacchan whispered gruffly, approaching Izuku so quickly he didn’t have time to process what was happening.
He squeaked, “What are you doing?”
“What does it look like I’m doing?” Izuku gasped as the blonde swiftly scooped him up off the floor and whisked him out of the bathroom.
Kacchan murmured, “I’m taking you back to bed."
Okay, so maybe Ochako wasn’t the worst friend in the world.
Izuku slept in Kacchan's bed last night. On New Year's Eve. And something happened, but unfortunately lightweight Izuku was too drunk to remember it. In fact, he's pretty sure he's still drunk because when Kacchan won't tell him what happened, Izuku asks him to show him.
Will this New Year's mishap lead to something more? Or are Izuku and Bakugou doomed to just stay best friends forever?

Izuku and Bakugou become roommates and fake date but would rather die than face their emotions.
