Summary
L’Manberg was gone. Tommy had nothing left. He lost his relationship with Technoblade. Wilbur was dead, Phil viewed him as a traitor. Tubbo and him were strained, to say the least.
And he’s tired. God, he’s so tired, and all he wants to do is rest, finally be free of all the burdens he carried constantly.
The weight of the world is a lot to put on a 16-year-olds shoulders.

Or : Technoblade stumbles upon Tommy in the Nether, ready to take his last life within the lava. He manages to save him, and swears to make things right with his family. He would protect his baby brother - he was going to fix this. -

Summary
When Wilbur disappears from the darkened streets of their sleepy seaside college town, Tommy makes it his mission to find his best friend. There's just one problem—it looks like Wilbur's been Taken by the fey, and neither the town nor the Fair Folk take kindly to any kind of searching.
Things start to go wrong very quickly, starting, among other things, with a body beneath the belltower.
(or, faeries have rules, but tommy's never been one to follow them, is the thing.)

Summary
“I should go,” Tommy murmurs. He’s fidgeting with something on his wrist that Wilbur can’t see. “I should go.”
It sounds less like he wants to, and more like he’s trying to convince himself that he has to.
“You could,” Wilbur says. He tries to sound indifferent. “But it’s not like I’m gonna kick you out or anything if you want to stay.”
Tommy looks at him. His eyes are blue, bright blue, a blue brighter than the sky when the sun beams down at noon. “I can stay?” He’s quiet, and hesitant, and that hurts more than the words themselves.
Or: A kid keeps showing up at Wilbur's cafe. Against his better judgement, Wilbur gets attached.

Tommy turns back to face Wilbur, and as he stands in the shadow cast by an impossibly tall tower, painted in hues of the day’s last dying light, Wilbur feels the pieces begin to fall into place.
“Tommy,” he says, despairing and desperate, “what was this tower for, Tommy?”
(or, a kinder universe where crimeboys stay and talk and breathe.)

Summary
Things are almost good for a little while. There is something like safety, like healing settling over the little cabin in the snow.
It feels a little bit like coming home, Tommy thinks, but he doesn’t say it out loud. It scares him sometimes, this vulnerability, this stability that could be torn out from under his feet at any moment. Trust is something he has felt like a knife in his back over and over. Trust is falling again and again even though there’s never anyone there to catch him before he hits the ground. Trust is broken bones and split lips, trust is spitting out blood and using his tongue to check for loose teeth.
And yet, and yet, when the same hands that curled into fists once before extend as open palmed offerings, he still takes them. Dream called him stupid, helpless, naive. Dream was right, Tommy knows, but Dream smelled like gunpowder and a bitter kind of smoke.
The smoke here is sweet and Tommy has never been one to learn from his mistakes.
Tommy had been Theseus for a little while. Tommy had been Icarus, Atlas, Prometheus.
But before all of that, he had been Tommy. Maybe there was a place for him to be again, now, in the after.

“I will keep the door closed,” Tommy says.
That’s not enough, apparently, because Wilbur shakes his head. “Sunshine, no matter what, you can’t unlock this door, okay? I’ll knock, and scream, and beg, and no matter what you hear you can’t unlock the door. Promise me. Tommy. Promise.”
“I promise.” Tommy sniffs. “I’ll keep the door closed.”
“And if I tell you to open it?”
“I won't listen to you,” Tommy answers. "Because I need to keep the door closed."
...
or; Wilbur gets bitten, and Tommy has to keep the door closed.

He needs to readjust himself to the comforts of the universe, to the presence of other people - he must be allowed to heal, and to do that, we have decided to bring him, well, to you.”

Technoblade is a Hypixel Champion taking a short, isolated break post-win streak. Philza Watson has just lost his hardcore world of five years, and needs to reintegrate into society after so long in isolation. Fate brings them together, and from it forms a friendship that transcends worlds.

Summary
It didn’t quite click into him, not until he registered the pain in Tubbo’s eyes, the way Ranboo set one foot in front of the other and hunched over his friend protectively. Then he saw the blood, matting a head of golden hair, clumping the strands together, and he knew, he knew, he knew and he hurt and he-
Wilbur broke, he sobbed, he screamed, “Tommy,” and there was blood on his hands, “wake up, wake up-!“
Tubbo hugged the body ever tighter.

Or: Tommy was dead, but Wilbur was alive, and living didn’t seem to be all that worth it at all when his little brother was gone.
Loss brings people together, however — Tubbo and Ranboo were adamant that they needed to keep him alive, if only for a chance at healing and redemption. So Wilbur tried his best; he learnt to live, for Tommy, and one day maybe he’d even learn to live for himself.
Meanwhile, he might or might not be haunted by Tommy’s ghost.

"You said you had business in the village?"Phil sighs softly. He's done this many times before, but he can never be sure what the reaction will be. "I was asked to help the land here regrow" He says honestly, keeping his pace even.
Techno slows for a moment before catching up to him. "How do you help it? Are you a farmer or something?"
"Not quite" Phil says, walking over to the side of the path and grabbing a bud on a low tree branch. He covers it with his hand and pulls on it gently, the wind cackling as he then removes his hand from it. The flower is now in bloom, the first of its many siblings to show its face to the world. Phil mutters it an apology and lets go of the branch. He gestures the man closer, who's staring at the freshly bloomed flower with wide eyes. "I'm not quite human, see. I bring forth the change in seasons; the gentle warmth after the endless cold. Some call me Spring"
