Summary
If you had asked me in the summer of 2023, freshly unemployed and watching the world rapidly devolve into an on-fire trashcan, if I would like to leave it all behind and live my life out in Middle Earth, my answer would have been an emphatic “fuck yes.”
That answer would have been informed by my firm and not irrational belief that Middle Earth wasn’t real; it was kind of the whole selling point.

Summary
In which Bilbo, Tauriel and Sigrid all die on the same day. So naturally they all wake up on the same day too, in the same place! The day before Gandalf brings thirteen dwarfs into Bilbo’s lives. Deciding that they will save the line of Durin and the dwarfs they love they decide to join the quest in the hope of a better outcome.
And also…destroy the One Ring because like hell is Bilbo leaving that mess for Frodo.
They plan to do this without telling Fili, Kili and Thorin because their love is unrequited of course. Everyone knows that.
The line of Durin might disagree.
