“Would you prefer to stop the bloodshed or to prevent it?”
Jaina looks at him, then moves her eyes to the valley below. The butcher is somewhere inside, probably boasting about his so-called victory, as if attacking a peaceful city could be considered anything but an atrocity.
How many lives?
“Countless, my child. The ones you grieve today, the ones you grieved years ago, the ones you will grieve in years to come if you continue down this path.”

It was a small, gray box that resembled a rock. When he picked it up, it was surprisingly light for what he thought was a rock. He was really startled when the rock opened a blue eye. It was the prettiest blue eye he had ever seen! But it did nothing more than blink a few times before closing.
So, it wasn’t a rock; instead, it was a really cool mechanical box! Izuku’s four-year-old brain went wild over this incredible discovery, so naturally, as any four-year-old would do, he took it home.
