“Fishing where?” Percy interrupted.
Poseidon let his breath out in a rush, dropping his eyes to his youngest son’s face with a rather sardonic expression. He had turned over in the blankets to watch Poseidon while he spoke and stared up at him now, innocent and ignorant, waiting for him to answer his question.
“On the beach,” Poseidon answered, eyes narrowed.
“On Montauk?” Percy asked.
“Do you want me to tell the story or do you just want to ask?” Poseidon questioned.
Percy grinned like the menace he was, burrowing deeper in the blankets and pulling a length over his mouth - as if that would help keep him quiet. But he waited patiently for Poseidon to continue, quiet as a mouse.
Or: Poseidon learns he has another son and does everything he can to provide him with a soft landing, but the dark history of their family looms in the background, waiting to strike.

Summary
Once a week on Saturday, as soon as the sun sets, a strange door with a simple and unassuming oval bronze plaque with ‘Eden Cat.’ written on it in an elegant font would appear.
The door would look unremarkable, just well-polished and smooth reddish wood, and standing perfectly straight in the middle of nowhere by itself, or even taking its place on walls that normally would not hold doors any other day of the week.
Should one open it, a room would appear beyond its frame, even if the door was just there, in the middle of the street, a dimly-lit bar would still be there waiting for the new guest to enter.
It was not only the Bartender to be ‘Magical’ in its abilities, though, the door of the bar itself was indeed Magical, literally.
It does not appear randomly in the human world only, but also in different realities and worlds inhabited by strange creatures of every size and shape.
These are the stories of the ‘Eden Cat’ Bar, and of its Bartender Ryu Sasakura, also known as “God’s Glass”.

He begins his interrogation at once. Uncle has dozed off, thankfully. If he knew she was awake, he would slow things down by offering tea. Still, Zuko is not a total barbarian. He thrusts the lukewarm tea in the girl’s direction. She looks around wildly, no doubt disoriented by her surroundings and Zuko presses his advantage.
“Where is the Avatar?”
A canon-divergent tale: Katara must protect the newly-found Avatar from a Fire Nation Prince, although he is not quite who she expected. But Katara has plenty of secrets of her own...

It was the bloody tea that unnerved him. How many hundreds of times had he watched her make tea? He had never seen her hands shake like that, even on a case. More than once, she missed the mug with the tea bag and threw it across the tiny counter which, even for Lucy, was a shocking lack of dexterity. He should have called ahead, he had woken her up—but no, she would have refused him outright.
But then she’d asked if he now took sugar in his tea.
(After four months away, Lucy asks Lockwood if he wants sugar in his tea. This breaks his heart.)
