   Summary

   Sakura Haruno finds herself in a world not her own, 25 years before class 1A enters UA. Assigned to work under the rising star Endeavor, Sakura finds herself navigating a culture obsessed with power, reputation, and control. She didn’t survive this long as a shinobi to become anyone’s pawn, not the Commission’s, and not his.
   Endeavor is chasing the number one spot determined to reach it by any means necessary. When the Commission provides him a foreign operative, he expects a tool. What he gets is a woman he can’t outpace and a truth he can’t ignore.
   There are no heroes in this story. Only people and what they choose to burn.
