Peter Parker has experienced all kinds of things, from fighting an internal civil war between heroes, his girlfriends Father trying to kill him, to fighting aliens in space, meeting his universal counterparts and having an entire universe forget Peter Parker even existed. He has indeed seen it all. But inter-dimensional travel into the past of a parallel universe? That's a new one.
