Anthony Crowley, Crown Prince of Abbadon, has been ordered by his siblings, Beezle and Gabriel, to go to the neighboring, unfriendly kingdom of Gaia and wed their Crown Prince, sight unseen. He is to take his cousin, Anathema, and leave the very next day. To say he's resentful of this development would be a massive understatement.
Aziraphale Eastgate, Crown Prince of Gaia, has received a similar edict from his father, King Derek: He is to wed the Prince of Abbadon - sight unseen - in ten days. There is no way he could ever accept the idea of marriage to a barbarian from Abbadon. The very idea is preposterous. His heart is full of resentment, fury, and betrayal when he attempts to run away.
How long will the resentment in the hearts of these two princes last once they meet?

She cuts the Titan down, and as her enemy dissolves into sand, Melinoe flickers across the Prince’s old bedroom, hauls the frozen body of Zagreus over her shoulders, and steps into the familiar dark. She does not cry from relief. This is not an emotional task. As the dusky cold of shadows closes over her, Melinoe only allows herself a single moment of surprise: Her brother’s hands are not the soft hands of a prince.
They are callused. Like her own.

In an attempt to make back some petty cash, you spot a "help wanted" sign in a particularly gorgeous bookshop window. Things start to feel strange and suspiciously cozy after working there. For some reason, it feels different getting to know the two people who spend most of their time in the shop, upkeeping the selection. You begin to think that maybe they're the answer to understanding why you seem to live "Forever".

Crowley and Aziraphale are very possibly the people least qualified, on the entire planet, to start up an advice podcast.
But what else is there to do when the world isn’t ending anytime soon, you’re technically on indefinite sabbatical from your lifelong careers, and you need a plausible excuse to spend more time with your best friend who you’re definitely not, absolutely not, maybe just a little, actually maybe overwhelmingly in love with?

Yor whips around to see a man standing on the small stage in front of the band, squinting into the bright spotlights as he leans into the microphone. He looks exactly like Loid, except slightly more disheveled and unlike his usual polished self. Her heart sinks.
Please don’t let that be Loid, she silently pleads.
“I seem to have lost my wife.”
She buries her head in her hands while mumbling curses.
Yor and Twilight learn the truth about each other. Neither of them expected what unraveled afterwards.

He's horrified to be won by a 'lanky man in black', and determined to tell the man that there's been a mistake when they meet after the auction to discuss the date. There is no way he will be going out with some complete stranger that 'bought' him.
And then he actually meets the lanky man in black, and starts to think that perhaps going on the date might not be such a bad thing.

He’s never talked to him, and Crowley has no idea that he exists. No one knows about how he feels but his best friend, Fergus, and he hopes it stays that way. Still, Aziraphale pines quietly, content to live in his daydreams about talking to Crowley.
Crowley has enjoyed the fast life, free of commitment, but being offered a residency at the Ineffable Museum of Art will allow him to slow down just a touch. His best friend, Anathema, has been insisting that he needs good people around him, and he's sure she's right. He's not looking for anything but a change of pace. He certainly isn't looking to date anyone: He doesn't even believe in love, and he's not about to shit where he eats, so to speak.
Neither of them know that Fergus and Anathema have hatched a plan to get them in front of each other...

“Crystal, what has happened here?”, he asks, and a few seconds later, their new psychic is standing in front of him, trousers splashed with the coffee she dropped, disbelief written across her face. “I was gone for a few hours and now Charles… and the whole building…”
He’s not quite sure how to put it, most likely because he still doesn’t understand, and Crystal looks at him like he come back from the Cat King’s lair with an additional head.
“Edwin”, she says, slowly, like she is still searching for the words, “what are you talking about? You’ve been gone for six weeks.”____________
Edwin takes the Cat King up on his initial offer, so instead of a few hours, he is gone for six weeks.
