Cleo was not a superstitious person. Despite the paranoia, and frankly, the insanity that surrounded them daily, Cleo was a relatively normal person. A normal farmer, writing letters to her mother. However, the town of Oakhurst held many more ghosts than they could have anticipated.

a cleo-centric fic focused on overcoming doing the easy thing and doing the right thing, werewolf pearl, and apo and cleo getting along for oncemoonrot vsmp au! there are some narrative changes, and this story begins in ep 1-2ish, and diverges from canon mid-episode three! lots of moonrot fluff but also vampires-typical angst. mind the tags!

Summary
Cleo came into Oakhurst to fulfil her goal her mother set her out to do.
She found a deserted town filled with 13 other newcomers.
She hoped to do what she needed quickly, but she had been stuck there with everyone lese for over 2 weeks now.
It could be worse, she is luckily sharing a home with Pearl, the only other sane person in the town.But it turns out that Vampires are here too, ready to hurt everyone in town and everyone that Cleo holds dear...
