Summary
Via Raditz’s broken scouter, Bulma tries to recover access to Planet Trade networks and technologies to get an upper hand against the androids. But in so doing, she discovers Raditz’s private files—writings and recordings he kept for himself over his long travels with Vegeta and Nappa under Freeza. Tales of their exploits and descent into madness come to change her perception of Vegeta and her relationship with him.
Homeworld Lost is a novel-length dark science-fantasy story with explicit violence, horror, and erotica (sometimes simultaneously). Generally canon compliant. Explores Vegeta’s backstory under the Planet Trade Organization and his fraught relationships with his comrades, particularly the twisted bond he and Raditz share. Most of the story is narrated by Raditz, but there are lots of twists. He is an unreliable narrator, and in places, altered mental states allow him to take other points of view. We also get interludes from Bulma as she reads and reacts to Raditz's account.

Summary
As a Saiyan refugee on Earth, Vegeta is familiar with rugged hardship, selling sex in a city alleyway behind a pizzeria in order to make ends meet. His tail swings at his side, an alert to all that he is a Saiyan, an alien - barbaric, untrustworthy, and fuckable.
Goku is a sweet, if not naive, pizza boy working at the restaurant next to Vegeta's favorite solicitation spot. He may not know what a Saiyan is, but he finds himself drawn towards him anyway, intrigued, smitten, and determined to understand what's under Vegeta's cold, wary exterior.

His hand was a work of art. Goku was in awe of the complex patterns and shapes that stained his skin. It was a visual labyrinth that his eyes couldn’t escape. He turned his hand over and stared in awe at the spiraling sun on his palm. Goku delicately traced the lines with the tip of his finger, and the hand relaxed.
He followed the lines to one of the fingers and noticed the many rings on his hand. A gold band wrapped around each finger except, surprisingly, his ring finger. ‘Kami, he’s just so-’
Goku’s thoughts were suddenly broken when he realized what he was doing, and that he had an audience watching him. He dropped the hand and bowed his head, his palms pressing together in a plea for forgiveness.
“S-Sorry for that! My name’s Goku. Uh, what’s yours?” Goku floundered, staring at anything that wasn’t the man in front of him.
“...It’s Vegeta.”
Goku meets the mysterious fifth teammate on his team at the Destroyer Tournament. Beerus promised he'd be strong, but never said he was Saiyan. While everyone's focused on the competition, Goku is left wondering why this man makes his chest feel so weird.
