Summary
Soulmates can take many forms. Some share dreams, others marks on their skin, or just can feel where their fated partner is like there was an invisible string tying them. There are as many ways for the bond to reveal itself as there are different ways people are paired up. Some times not even as pairs but as a group. One thing that is always rumored is that there is a way to brake such a bond, but the pair who does so would be cursed to repeat that moment. No one has ever claimed to do such a thing, but it was something Ren kept in the back of his mind.

Summary
Amamiya Ren killed a god, stopped his therapist from putting everyone in a false reality, and was more than ready to go back to his hometown. Everything was done. Back to the ‘way it was suppose to be’ with no sign of any rivals who managed to survive.
Expect for how Ren kept seeing Akechi out of the corner of his eyes even after he moved back to Inaba.

“I think he’s moving back to his hometown today. Makoto told me they were all going to drive him to the station today.”
“What?”
“He’s done with his probation. Ren even said bye to me yesterday as he got ready. If you want to see him in person I don’t mind dropping you off.”
Akechi felt like his throat was closing up. He wasn’t ready to meet Ren again, but a phone call wouldn’t be enough. There was just too much they both left unsaid last time and Akechi didn’t trust himself to say the right things without preparing first this time. Having the deadline of Ren’s train arriving actually worked in Akechi’s favor. All he needed to do was catch Ren before he got on his train, let him know he’s alive, and make a demand about saving for their rematch for next time Ren’s in town.
Quick and easy.
