Summary
Jaster Mereel was fully willing to accept death when it came for him. He didn't think it would happen with a knife in his guts, or via Ion Cannons fired by cowardly Kyr'tsad who couldn't dare to look him in the eye as he was obliterated...but despite the hard pill to swallow, he was prepared to join the Manda after his failure on Korda Six. What the Mand'alor was not at all ready for, happens to be a towering, extremely cryptic Sith Lord who appeared out of nowhere to save his life.
Apparently, Darth Vader claims 'the Force had sent him'. Dar'jetii osik, that's what Jaster understood. But with Death Watch on the run, and the fate of Mandalore potentially in the hands of a Sith not hellbent on seeing them all bend the knee...he wasn't stupid enough to question his good luck. Now, if only he could get back the Darksaber, figure out where this ancient fossil crawled out of, and keep the Republic from discovering his existence, Jaster might just manage to make do with this. Oh, and Vader was hot under the mask. Kriff it all...
