Summary
Simon asks her what immortality feels like on a crisp autumn evening, as she’s replacing the strings on her bass. He’s had a white streak in his hair and crow’s feet for years, but his knees are still strong enough to crouch in the dirt and look at bugs with his microscope on one of Bonnie’s many terrifying expeditions. He’s outlived both Finn and Jake, and she can tell that it’s starting to irk him.
She leans back against the wind, floating a little above the ground, the question pounding in her head like the time that Finn had asked her what a lifetime of achievement meant and she’d had to swallow down everything but her own tongue as she answered.
“I guess it’s a little bit like an endless summer vacation,” she says, snapping off another string with a clawed hand, “Yeah, that’s it.”
Post-Canon, Simon and Marceline talk about immortality, family and everything else. Most of the talking happens in Marceline's head.

It’s the fucking stubble, he thinks. It’s got to be, right? It’s the fucking stubble and that’s why everyone’s weird around him. It’s because they know that it’s not a good look and that they’re kind of weirded out at the fact that someone like Prismo can actually even get stubble (Finn had been drunk enough to ask the how and Prismo had been drunk enough to not give a fuck and not dignify him with an answer that would mostly be I don’t know, why the fuck do you have stubble, dipshit?) and that they’re too polite to say anything.
Why?
Because Prismo broke the rules and became three-dimensional for Jake’s funeral and Scrabby wasn’t sent after him even though everyone who wanted to know knew because Prismo didn’t try to hide it.
Why?
Because Prismo's bad at keeping time and that's a really big fucking problem.
Prismo, Prismo's grief that feels endless, and the things (people) that make a dent in it.

Summary
The most Tucker has ever heard about tombs has been in old Bible stories. Mainly the one about Jesus. But in those stories, the people never stayed in their tombs. They always got up and left.
Technically, you could say the desert temple was a tomb. But it wasn't CT who killed Tucker the first time.
