Kim Dokja corrected himself, it was not that it made little sense, none of this made any sense at all, not a single bit of it. Even Yoo Joonghyuk looked confused about what he had just done.
Slowly, the protagonist turned back to the reader as if looking for guidance, before finding Kim Dokja was holding an arm between them, keeping his distance, and looking well and truly disturbed.
Then, that bastard really had the audacity to look like he was genuinely hurt by Kim Dokja’s reaction.
Yoo Joonghyuk gets hit with the cliché Hidden Scenario Penalty Truth Serum Special Edition and it messes with everyone's minds - someone get these people a degree in emotional regulation

MAJOR INSPIRATION SOURCE! Extremely good intro and really good writing in general. Everything flows really naturally and the pacing is amazing. Showcases his thoughts without it being boring... really, it's perfect. Descriptions are not repetitive and are intriguing.

It feels like being turned inside out, like every cell in her body is being torn apart and put back together wrong. The warehouse disappears into a blur of color and sound and then she's there, directly between Mira and the demon, close enough to see the surprise in Mira's eyes.
The demon's swing catches Rumi square in the ribs. She feels the impact, feels something crack deep inside, multiple somethings, bones splintering like dry wood, and then she's flying.

Or: Rumi would die a thousand times to keep her girls safe, and that's exactly what terrifies Mira most.
