Summary
Thank you Rebecca Yarros for creating this wonderful world for us to play. Written prior to release of ONYX STORM, one commenter calls this a kinder/gentler version of the six months after the Battle of Basgiath, 80% Violet's POV, 20% Xaden's.
Scope:
Book 3, Part I, 9 chapters. Resolves X's problem and introduces his mom (VERY different from ONYX STORM).
Book 3, Part II, 10 chapters. resolves V's second signet, her size/joints (VERY different), her parents' work. Introduces better venin defenses, much more central role for dragons, tensions w/in Empyrean. Sets up Revolution's new relationship with Navarre & scribes.
Book 3, Part III. If commenters express interest, could be written to establish new relationship between Revolution/Poromiel & heat up venin war
Does not address: Changes in Andarna, feather tails, offensive weapons.
Style: Consistent with history/timelines/geography/characters established in first two books. Few battles or fights, no steamy sex, lots of romance, mental rather than combat challenges. The plot is the thing.

Summary
Revolution is happening, shaking the foundations of the world they know. Summary
[Post-Iron Flame.] There's a lot that Violet Sorrengail does not have the emotional energy to deal with right now. From her mother, to figuring out what to do about Aretia, to the absolute train wreck of the situation with Xaden, she just wants to get through the next little while without losing her mind. And last on her list of things she wants to deal with is the sudden appearance of her ex, Crown Prince Halden, because it's going to introduce a whole new clusterfuck of baggage to everything else on her plate.
