RED wasn't one to yearn for second chances. This game was all he'd known for decades, and he couldn't see that changing any time soon. Still, sometimes he finds himself humoring the thought of living another life, of being able to choose his own fate. Of being undeniably and irrevocably real and human. A pitiful daydream he knew will never come to fruition.
One day, though, something offers him that chance. An opportunity to seek happiness. He turns it down.
It's funny that he ever thought he had a choice.

Summary
"I wanted to share my story about this Pokémon Rom I found, and some of my friends told me that posting it on ao3 was a good idea.
How do I summarize this? I found this copy of Pokémon Red on a Goodwill I go to, and even though the state of the cartridge wasn't the best (y'know, with the sticker scratched and the fading colors), it still caught my eye.
I genuinely don't know if it was a bad idea to get this game, but I guess you have to find out yourself. It WAS packed with new content, and its story is interesting in my opinion, but I sadly couldn't comment on EVERYTHING included.
