"'Bout time we got another reptile in here," Gaz says brightly. "Maybe now Cap'll finally invest in some proper heaters."
Soap chuckles, smoke leaking from his nostrils when he grins. "Ah'm plenty warm," he teases, drawing Gaz under his wing, the snake wriggling happily, his round pupils shining as his cheeks flush pink. He rests his chin on Soap's shoulder with a tiny hiss, content to curl around him and soak up the heat of Soap's fire.
"Ghost is out on a mission," Price tells him. "You'll only get to meet him when it's basically wheels-up, unfortunately. He's, ah, a bit of a prickly sort, but impress him and you won't have any problems."

After some...tense negotiations, you all agree to a rather unconventional method of sorting things out. But as the stakes keep getting higher and more people catch wind of the beskar, everything starts going wrong fast.
The two men trying to keep you grounded might just be your undoing.

"Aye, ye wanted my attention, now ye've got it and ye still can't sit still," Soap hummed glancing down at him. He couldn't see his face underneath his mask but he knew it had to be a pitiful sight. Red flush skin, bright wet eyes, and pink parted lips. Ghost stalked his office from the minute they got back till now. Pacing back and forth, wondering how much longer it was going to take, asking if he could take a quick break to grab something to eat. Soap wasn't oblivious or stupid.

And a small blue eyed raven haired boy. More so because it’s such a 180 to their adult selves. There’s John “fight me” MacTavish who kicked the dirt. And dared it to fight back because Simon tripped and got an owie. Then you’ve got Simon “too precious for this world” Riley who all he has to do is sniffle. And Soap will fight the air if it’s dared to upset his smol bean.

Summary
Young Boba Fett has been granted early parole. However, he's tossed out into the world with no money, home, or prospects. A chance encounter with two young teens in a diner solves at least one of these problems. What starts out as a temporary roof over his head slowly grows into a home and family he builds for himself, and leads him down a path completely different from the one laid out for him.

After what might be the most tense moment of silence yet (which is almost impressive, considering how uncomfortable some of the other silences have been), Fett stalks across the room over to you, stopping only after crowding your personal space. You would crane your neck to look up at him, but instead he leans down to speak lowly into your ear. “This better be worth it, or I may auction you off to the Empire. Or, better yet—I’m sure the Hutts would enjoy having a mage at their disposal. They like to keep cute things like you on leashes.”
His words have the desired effect of sending a chill down your spine. After swallowing hard, you turn slightly, trying to meet his eyes out of your peripheral without accidentally touching your face to his helm. “You think I’m cute?”
