A snide remark about Robert's smoking habits during a business trip to France quickly roars into a full blown relationship crisis between him and Tahir. By the time Arthur arrives in Amsterdam, his only hope is that at least their Dutch business partners are going to be professional.
The Dutch do not disappoint and very professionally take the quarelling lovers off Arthur's hand for a night. Nothing personal about it.

Summary
After fighting the Romans in the forest, Asterix and Obelix come across a Roman soldier named Abacus whose foot was broken by a menhir landing on it. Unable to bring Abacus back to Compendium, because the Roman general thought it was trap by the Gauls, Asterix and Obelix take Abacus to their village and let him stay there until his foot gets better, much to the surprise of the other Gauls.
Meanwhile, Abacus' rather dimwitted friends plan to rescue him from the Gaulish village because they think the Gauls are trying to eat him, with outrageous results.
