I looked up at her at her words and I wowed to myself. She was worried about the cold but I was worried about catching myself drooling for her.
I gave another huff, stopping my tail from wagging as I stared up at the very attractive vampire.
"Well, I should probably head out. It's bad for me to be out in the cold, you know."
She explained and began walking away. I stood up, almost in a silent objection, but she didn't see that, because she had her back turned. Walking to the edge of the roof, they spoke once more.
"And, from one monster to another--don't get hunted, alright?"
And she swiftly hopped off the building, once again expertly traversed the streets.

Caitlyn panicked, feeling extraordinarily unprepared having been thrust into her new position without so much as even a handbook to consult. What were the formalities? What was she supposed to respond with? Where was the damn push to talk button…
“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.

After a high stakes duel with the Lunarians, the Lustrous claim victory. Though immediately after, a meteorite is dropped by the Lunarians onto the school. It’s contents unknown.
I have only watched the show, and read a bit of the manga, please don't kill me or spoil the rest of it in the comments if I get something about the world wrong. School starts back up for me on monday, and I wanna get this out before my motivation is sucked dry off my bones. Also, apologies if I make some of the characters act ooc, I promise I did my best. English also isn't my first language, so apologies for any mistakes in my writing.
Also, this is after the winter with Phos, but before the moon.
This will be multiple chapters, and I will include more intense/interesting stuff as it progresses.
