Summary
And Robby knew he was in trouble the moment he stepped into peds. He hesitated—just for a moment, just inside the doorway. He could smell her distress already—an almost sour milk smell, overpowering her sweeter, baby-soft scent. Al-Hashimi, another omega, didn’t seem as bothered by it. Jesse, either. They were already talking shop, getting stats and pulling on gloves.
Robby took the gloves Jesse handed him with a quiet thanks and stepped up next to the bassinet, across from Al-Hashimi. He took a deep, fortifying breath, heart pounding as the sour milk distressed smell thickened, hands trembling as he reached out to check the baby. A little girl. Tiny. Gums a bright pink.
“Oh, well hydrated,” he said, voice croaking a little as Mohan came into the room.
“No obvious source of infection,” said Al-Hashimi. “Could be a benign virus, but can’t assume that.”
“Is this the abandoned baby?” Mohan asked, stopping at the end of the bassinet.
Robby hummed softly. The baby grabbed his finger—
Fuck.
The baby was calming. The room no longer stunk of sour milk, instead replaced with that unique soft smell of honey and baby powder that most pups seemed to smell of.

Summary
Percy stepped back and got a better look at the doctor and blinked at the rush of familiarity; this was an Apollo kid if he’d ever seen one. “Do I know you?”
The doctor blinked. “Oh my Gods. Percy Jackson?!”
Recognition hit him like a truck. “Will Solace?!”
Will laughed. The sound was warm and cheered Percy down to his bones. Moments like these had him missing the world of myth he’d left behind more than anything.

Summary
Having to deal with the consequences of a goddesses actions against a child of the sea. Had been bad the first time for all of them. And Triton hadn't wished it on anyone else.
To have it happen almost a second time through one of her children. Was proving to be just as painful as the first.
Even if this time it was his half brother instead of his child.
Or
When the consequences from the Capture the Flag game are more severe because Percy does nearly die against the Ares cabin. It brings back some bad memories for his Dad's side of the family due to Annabeth's involvement. And as a result ends up gaining a very (in Percy's opinion.) overprotective immortal family in the process.

Summary
Gabriel was just about to start on the E-FAST when suddenly everything cut out. Jack sucked in a sharp breath from where he’d been reapplying pressure to the wound as the noise of the ER just… stopped. Jack was left with nothing but the dreaded ringing in his ears that overshadowed the muffled sound of his residual hearing.
