This story will be faithful to canon up to January 2025 - anything after that is fair game. Falling in love with Swarla has made me nostalgic for Vanity and got me wondering how Emmerdale could bring them back together after ruining the best relationship on TV. In an effort to be realistic (or at least soap realistic) there is some cheating and an affair.
