Summary
The Angel, the only one with real power in their world, was forced in an elaborate, yet incomplete, script of sorts, reciting and replaying their part over and over again. They could pick up the pen, they could fill in the missing pieces of the script, yet they lacked the eraser to delete and rewrite anew.
Noelle Holiday, having become aware of her situation after the first time it snowed. Merely an actor in the grand stage of their world, forced to play her part again and again. She had no control over her fate, as she lacked the pen to write.
The two come to a realisation, and a close partnership. They would not stop until the script was nothing more than dust, fluttering away in the snow. -

‘Noelle…’ Kris looked at her again, eyes still angry yet increasingly more tired. ‘I’m- I’m going to protect you.’
Noelle burst out laughing, surprising Kris. She grinned at them as they started cringing at themselves, seeing their face turn ever so slightly red. She couldn’t believe they had just said something so dumb and anime-like.
‘Okay Krismas, I believe you.’ Noelle giggled, looking at them lower their head. ‘I’ll protect you too…haha…although…I hope this isn’t the punchline into another one of your jokes’
Watched by the moonlight, Noelle makes a promise to protect Kris. A vow that echoes the two's past, and the feelings she can't push away.
How was she meant to know that only the next day, an other-worldly entity would possess her friend and make them do horrible things to her? Shackled by a ring that messes with her head, Noelle has to fight both her fears and the influence of the ring. Noelle must keep her promise and save Kris - while also trying to dissociate between the mind control tampered feelings for the other, and the true melody of her heart.
