Summary
Bruce tangles their fingers together, leading Clark through the kitchen and up the staircase. It’s a mirror of the first time they did this, six months ago. Clark is no less excited now than he was then. His love for Bruce has grown to the point of overflowing, until it feels like it’s shining through his pores. If Bruce asked for the moon and stars, Clark would do everything in his power to give them to him.
“You’re thinking too much,” Bruce says as they reach the top of the staircase and start down the hall towards Bruce’s rooms.
“Isn’t that my line?” Clark answers teasingly.
