Natasha raised her eyebrows in silent amusement at that. “Do you dance often enough to be that gifted, Mr Wayne?”
“Not as often as you and your friends seem to, what with Tony’s infectious energy making everything seem so fun...” The man smiled at her widely, even if his eyes were calculating. “But I do if given the right incentive... Miss Romanoff.”
“And what’s that?” She asked idly as if she didn’t care, allowing him to begin them into a classic waltz without paying more than a passing thought to the steps.
“Call me Bruce.”
With a soft chuckle, she changed steps in order to force him into following her lead, her hand steady on his shoulder as she pulled him with her. “Don’t expect me to reward you with the same favor so easily, Bruce.”
The man’s pupils were a hungry pit of blackness behind the flash of teeth her sent her as he wrapped his arm fully around her waist and lifted her into a spin to regain control of their dance, seeming to enjoy the way her nails bit into his shoulder at the way she’d been left unable to escape from the sudden lift. “I’ll prove myself worthy.”Series

I got pulled into the Batfam like it was quicksand from a 60s movie and I was a poor unaware explorer just looking for more Tim Drake and Jason Todd content (yes, I am a neurodivergent people pleaser who was neglected, thanks for noticing). So. I'm here now making my own content because I feel the need to add to the whole trend of seeing any canon black-haired child of ambiguously not-so-great parenting and dropping them into Gotham City Limits. And that's on ✨using fiction to cope✨.

Summary
In freshman year of high school, Danny pulled away from his friends without explanation.
At sixteen, he disappeared. Sam and Tucker presumed him dead. His parents insisted he was taken by ghosts.
As young adults, they run into him in Gotham, of all places. It's a stroke of luck that brings their best friend back to them.
If only it was that easy for the Bats to find the god damn engineer that's been running circles around them while they try to track him down.
Tim's not sure what he'll do first when he finally finds the brilliant bastard - kiss him or punch his teeth in.

Summary
Bruce was starting to understand the jokes about him and adopting strays. But it’s not like he ever went looking for kids to adopt. They just sort of… appeared.
Besides, the neighbor boy clearly had no one, and Bruce could not in good conscience let that assassin girl go back to parents who had treated her so badly.
If that meant Bruce adopted two more kids, so be it. It’s not like he didn’t have the room.

But the biggest revelation is that he seems to be in contact with Rat – an anonymous self-proclaimed detective who’s been helping out the police for months.
