There are many dangerous things about Saparata, but by far the most dangerous is simply how well he knows Fluixon. It would be difficult to not know Flux, at this point, after cycling through what must be a million universes by now. He knows Flux's habits and patterns. He understands the things that Flux doesn't yet know about himself.
Which means when they spawn into a new world again, whatever uncountable number they’re on, Flux knows he's short on time. Because Saps is a heat-seeking missile, and Flux is his only target. Sooner or later, Saparata will find his way to him.

Summary
Like every other severed employee of DSMP Inc, Alex exists as two different people, who share the same body but know nothing about each other. Every morning when he goes to work, Alex becomes Quackity, and until now he’s been content to leave his other life a mystery.
But then late one night in a diner parking lot, Alex is confronted by a strange older man with mutton chop sideburns and alcohol on his breath, whom Alex can’t remember having met before but who clearly recognizes him, who calls him “Quackity” and tells him they’ve been lied to. And less than five minutes later, that man is lying dead on the ground.

“I just think it’s a little ridiculous, that’s all,” Wilbur says around a mouthful of hash brown. “I mean the theater of it, you know? The spectacle.”
“Of course it’s a spectacle," Quackity says. “We’re launching a fucking rocket.”
“We launch rockets every day. This one just so happens to have people sitting on top of it.”
“I’m not a chump for being excited about this,” Quackity says, setting up all the familiar defenses. “It’s a big deal. It’s a big deal every fucking time.”
“I never said you were a chump, Quackity, let’s not be dramatic.” Quackity’s eyes stay on the road, but he can hear the eyeroll in Wilbur’s voice. “I only said that it’s depressingly mundane.”
“For you, maybe," Quackity says, and swallows down the rest.
