Summary
The Maronis, Falcones, and Waynes have only been seen twice together in public. Once during the burial of Martha and Thomas Wayne. The second during their youngest’s introduction to the world, the christening of Bruce Thomas Wayne.
Any normal person wouldn’t have batted an eye.
Afterall, what’s the big deal about a child getting baptized?
But a Gothamite would know.
Above all things, the Waynes were the very image of people who lost the ability to believe in religion. Admittedly, their family has remained secluded, but this was the one thing that the people would know.
They were the product of non-belief.
Humans who were tired of a God who could not hear their pleas, who then decided to take matters into their own hands. Forging their own society.
They didn’t take Bruce to the Church to get him baptized, no. It wasn’t them baptizing Bruce Wayne. It was the world being christened for Bruce Wayne. A show of power, a statement, with Sal Maroni and Carmine Falcone as his godfathers, reminding the city who the true leaders of their community were.

Summary
The first time Jon ever saw Damian lose his composure was because of his family. The surprising part was that Jon didn’t think Damian could lose his composure. Though since he did, it wasn't surprising that it was his family that drove him to it.

Summary
It’s been a long three months. Three months since Jason joined back into the Wayne family. Damian made no sign that he recognized Jason, so Jason’s been pretending that he doesn’t recognize his little brother. Jason’s reading in the living room of the manor because he’s waiting on Bruce to show up so he can try to talk him out of making him get a GED. Damian storms into the house and goes straight for Jason. He almost gets to Jason when he stops. He gets this angry kitten look, then turns and storms upstairs. Jason feels a pang of sadness and shifts uncomfortably.
Alternately, Jason left Damian with the LoA to start getting revenge on Bruce and the others who wronged him in Gotham. He reunited with his little brother upon returning to his family, but things aren’t the same.

Summary
‘He’s just a kid, Bruce!’ His brother shouts, voice high and reedy with how unbelievably upset he is. Damian can hear their argument in perfect clarity despite the fact that they’re all the way downstairs, and it somehow leaves him feeling even more isolated than before—as if he were an animal confined to its cage.
‘He’s an assassin, Tim!’ Batman shouts back, and Damian knows deep in his soul that the words will haunt him for the rest of his life. If his own father doesn’t believe him capable of change, then what hope does he really have in being Gotham’s Robin?
