Summary
Haname had not yet found much to love in Tortall. She looked at the land as they traveled across it, and longed for Yaman’s mountains, its curated gardens, its tumbling streams. She could find Tortall’s rolling hills, its green farmland, its picturesque forests, pleasant, but after a year of parading around its core territories, she could not yet love it.

Summary
Zuko invited her parents to the palace because he somehow still hadn't met them, and Toph would occasionally appear wistful when speaking of family. He viscerally understood what it felt like to be rejected by the very people who were supposed to love you. What he didn't expect was Toph's reaction in the immediate aftermath.
