You personally have, by all accounts, enough money and influence to grant every kid’s wildest dreams. So what did he want that you couldn’t give it to him? What did he want that was so far away?’
Was it to get away from you? Bruce surely heard the unspoken accusation as he physically bristled.
You cannot mourn your son, but deny the title + responsibilities of a father.
Or, the Social Worker's conversation with Bruce about Jason's death goes very differently.
