A sloooooow-burn take on Series 1-6 (planned), primarily following:
a) the relationship between the Doctor and Rose Tyler and
b) the wide-ranging impacts of the Bad Wolf and the Time War on all of reality.Goes slightly AU at POTW, full-on AU at Doomsday (in a “make-worse” way not a fix-it, sorry), and hard-core AU around TSE/JE (with more fix-it vibes), but will largely stick to the major events of the episodes and fill in some bits in between.
Fluffy, angsty, hurt/comfort-y, etc.
Cannot promise that each individual fic has a happy ending, but CAN and DO promise that the series as a whole will.

Rose Tyler has been trapped in a parallel world for a year now. Jackie had her baby and Mickey is thriving in Torchwood and everyone seems to have moved on, but she can't. Every day is back to being the same. Work, food, sleep, miss the Tardis. Miss the Doctor. Then she meets a gangly young man with a swoop of brown hair and pale eyes who doesn't seem to fit anywhere, who shares a flat with a married couple and has nightmares about statues. And a fob watch that won't stop whispering. (Eleven/Rose Human Nature-inspired AU, canon-divergent.)
